Software Engineer - Care Solution in Bengaluru

Healthedge is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Bengaluru team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining code for GuidingCare, with support for integration features with Wellframe. It's an excellent opportunity for engineers with 2-4 years of experience to contribute to innovative healthcare solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will help build a cutting-edge Digital Health Management platform designed to positively impact patient care and health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for Care-Wellframe integration using modern technologies and frameworks. Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot to enhance development speed and code quality.
• Code Quality: Produce clean, optimized, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Feature Development: Create application features, user interfaces, and databases that facilitate seamless integration between GuidingCare and Wellframe.
• Testing & Debugging: Develop and execute unit test cases, identify and resolve bugs, and ensure product functionality in controlled environments prior to deployment.
• Data Management: Manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring proper data modeling and integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Learning & Growth: Pursue opportunities to learn new technologies and methodologies, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within software systems, ensuring system robustness and high customer satisfaction.
• On-call Support: Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for team-owned systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on software development experience.

Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

• Experience with the Microsoft platform (ASP.NET, MVC, C#) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js).
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, Web Services, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and writing SQL queries.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and software design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience utilizing AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) and agentic AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for development tasks.
