Software Developer - Backend Engineering (Bengaluru)

Suki is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our dynamic Backend Engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be instrumental in building a world-class product by collaborating closely with our product, design, and operations teams. You will be responsible for developing, owning, and maintaining highly scalable distributed services and solutions, leveraging a microservices architecture built with Golang and Python.

Key responsibilities include ensuring application performance, high uptime, and upholding rigorous standards of code quality. You will also maintain continuous integration and deployment tools, and create comprehensive unit and integration tests for all written software code.

Qualifications:

• Strong product development experience, particularly in building distributed systems and microservices.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient programming skills in Go within a Linux environment.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
• Superior organization, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to deliver end-to-end products and features.
• Skilled in multitasking and re-prioritizing responsibilities based on evolving requirements.
