Software Engineer

Role Overview:

• Create and maintain scalable backend services using Python or Golang for high-traffic environments.
• Build robust RESTful APIs to support mobile applications, web platforms, and internal tools.
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and analytics teams to launch features at scale.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring 99.9% availability and efficient handling of large-scale traffic.
• Develop clean, modular, testable code following industry best practices and software engineering standards.
• Take ownership of debugging production issues leading root cause analysis and post-mortem documentation.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on backend development experience with Python or Golang.
• Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming (OOP), operating systems, and network protocols.
• Demonstrated success in designing and managing high-volume REST APIs.
• Expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL stores such as MongoDB and Redis.
• Familiarity with major cloud providers including AWS, GCP, or Azure for infrastructure management.
• Practical experience using containerization technologies like Docker for application deployment.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deploy workflows.
• Experience implementing observability stacks such as Prometheus/Grafana or ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Familiarity with Git version control systems and collaborative development practices.
• Evidence of contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal backend applications.
