Full Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Moonfrog Labs in Bangalore, you will collaborate closely with a small, hybrid team of artists, engineers, and product managers to develop and enhance engaging game systems. You will take pride in crafting exceptional user experiences, aggressively optimizing code for performance, and ensuring the efficiency and stability of various systems. This role demands full ownership and accountability for your work, from conception and design through testing, deployment, and post-release enhancements.
Requirements:
- You are a full-stack engineer with at least 2 years of experience building user-facing web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages and frameworks: Java/Scala, JS/TypeScript+NodeJS, Golang, or C++.
- Experience with databases, Key-Value stores, and Queuing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to game engines and game development.
- Experience developing for scalable systems.
- Previous experience in startups or fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
