Software Engineer

Ema is seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Engineer to join our India team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our enterprise software applications. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutions tailored to our enterprise clients' needs. The ideal candidate possesses experience building products across the full stack, with a strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise software applications, including API, data, application, and service development.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code through a test-driven development process.
• Build scalable and reliable back-end systems using languages such as Go and Python.
• Develop and maintain APIs using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
• Integrate multiple enterprise applications and services using scalable frameworks like FastAPI.
• Build and maintain data schemas using PostgreSQL, Redshift, and similar technologies.
• Possess knowledge of front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Ensure application security and adherence to industry best practices.
• Continuously improve software development processes and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• A solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Proven experience in back-end development using languages like Python and Go.
• Knowledge of database technologies including PostgreSQL, Elastic, and Redis.
• Experience in designing and building API platforms and integration systems.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise applications, including frameworks and authentication mechanisms.
• Understanding of security best practices and protocols for enterprise software applications.
• Experience deploying software in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience collaborating with global teams.
