Position Overview

CredHive, a cutting-edge, AI-focused fintech startup in Delhi, India, is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in backend development and data processing. This role is perfect for a Python expert with a strong foundation and at least two years of professional experience. You will be instrumental in building and optimizing our backend systems, handling large datasets, and developing efficient APIs that power our innovative credit solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Construct, maintain, and enhance robust backend systems using Python, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability for our data services.
• Data Processing: Engineer and manage processes for ingesting, storing, transforming, and analyzing substantial datasets.
• API Development: Design and implement well-defined RESTful APIs for seamless data interaction between our backend and frontend applications.
• Collaboration and Integration: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with other company software and solutions.
• Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement optimizations for peak efficiency.
• Code Quality: Uphold rigorous code standards, producing clean, well-documented, and testable code, while actively participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on Python programming.
• Demonstrated experience in backend development and building efficient data processing pipelines.
• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling principles.
• Understanding of software development best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
