Software Engineer

Position Overview

CredHive is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Python and backend development to join our innovative team in Delhi, India. This role is ideal for a professional with at least two years of experience in software development, particularly in Python programming and data processing. You will play a crucial role in building and scaling our AI-driven credit solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Python, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability for our data services.
• Data Processing: Create and manage robust processes for handling large datasets, encompassing collection, storage, transformation, and analysis.
• API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless data interaction between backend services and frontend applications.
• Collaboration and Integration: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with other company software and solutions.
• Performance Tuning: Actively monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement optimizations to enhance overall system efficiency.
• Code Quality: Uphold high coding standards by writing clean, well-documented, and testable code, and actively participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on Python.
• Demonstrated experience in backend development and building efficient data processing pipelines.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling principles.
• Understanding of software development best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
