Software Engineer

Role Overview:

This Associate Vice President level role invites driven Software Engineers to join the digital revolution at NatWest Digital X in Chennai, India. You will engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions within a feature team.

• Build extensive networks with stakeholders across varying seniority levels to deliver complex software, scripts, and tools that add value to the business.
• Take ownership of the full lifecycle: from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning.
• Collaborate to optimize engineering capabilities and produce critical code rapidly with high quality.

The Skills You'll Need

We are seeking candidates with at least eight years of experience in software engineering, design, architecture, and customer support. Essential technical proficiencies include:

• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS, Redux, and building responsive UI components.
• Experience integrating REST APIs with authentication.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, modern build tools, testing frameworks, and development/testing environments.
