Software Engineer

Role and Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user-centric solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software using various tools, languages, frameworks, and methodologies, including Agile.
• Assess application requirements and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, and deployment strategy.
• Create high-level software architecture designs outlining the overall structure, components, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and designers.
• Define and implement software test strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with organizational vision and industry best practices.
• Continuously improve application performance, optimize code, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Adhere to programming practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Support security practices, including encryption and anonymization, to safeguard user data.
• Develop user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
• Develop and maintain back-end applications, including APIs and microservices, using server-side languages.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities, participating in solutions for new stack layers, often involving industry collaboration.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Skills Required

• Angular
• Spring Boot
• Java

Experience Required

• 2-4 years in IT; 2 years in development with at least one coding language or framework.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Invoicing and Warranty systems is preferred.

Additional Information

Ability to work independently. COBOL, JCL, DB/2 are primary skills. GCP, Java, PowerBI are preferred add-on skills.
