Software Engineer 3

About the Role

Infocusp Innovations LLP seeks a Level 3 Software Engineer to contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. This role demands strong hands-on development skills and solid architectural thinking for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems. You will focus on writing clean, maintainable code, contributing to technical decisions, reviewing code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. While not a people management role, you are expected to mentor junior developers, uphold engineering best practices, and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help implement scalable and maintainable system designs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs with a strong focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate and prototype open-source tools or new technologies when required.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and data protection standards.

Requirements

• Educational background: B.E./B.Tech/B.S. Candidates with significant prior experience will be considered.
• Experience: 7+ years in full-stack development.
• Skills: Strong logical and analytical skills for debugging and reasoning through complex systems.
• Backend Proficiency: Expertise in Python and/or Node.js for API development, service integration, performance optimization, and microservices architecture.
• Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or AWS for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services.
• Databases: Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Frontend Proficiency: Expertise in frameworks like React or Next, with solid HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals.
• Architecture Understanding: Good understanding of RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and core software architecture principles.
• SDLC Knowledge: Solid knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and monitoring.
• Security: Working knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, SAML, OIDC) and web security best practices.

Pay Range: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
