About the Role: **Software Engineer (Contract)**

**Role Overview:** Contribute to product-level software engineering tasks in real-world codebases, focusing on scalable, clean, and maintainable code. Collaborate with distributed teams to optimize development workflows, debug issues, and enhance application performance. Support AI-driven engineering initiatives through coding, evaluation, and technical problem-solving.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Write, debug, test, and maintain software across projects.
• Analyze and improve software reliability and performance.
• Work with version control (Git) and standard software development practices.
• Leverage AI-related engineering skills for coding and evaluation tasks.

**Requirements:**

• 1+ years of professional or equivalent software engineering experience.
• Experience with product-level codebases (internships, full-time roles, or projects).
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with debugging, testing, and maintainable code.
• Bonus: Experience with human data handling.
