About This Role
In the Global Products Group, we ensure excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. As software systems become increasingly complex, quality engineering is essential to ensure product stability and customer satisfaction worldwide.
Your Mission: Senior Software Engineer – Quality Assurance Automation
- Work closely with developers and global teams to validate cutting-edge equipment control software.
- Influence product quality through test automation, defect management, and modern AI-assisted testing practices.
- Improve testing efficiency in advanced semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Your Responsibilities
Quality Engineering & Test Automation:
- Design functional, integration, regression, system, GUI, and performance test cases.
- Develop automated suites to improve release quality and coverage.
- Support CI/CD-driven testing activities.
- Leverage Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate workflows.

Product Validation & Customer Support:
- Qualify releases before deployment.
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer-reported issues with root-cause identification.
- Partner with engineering teams for timely issue resolution.

AI-Assisted Quality Engineering:
