Software Development Intern

Responsibilities

• Understand product architecture, workflows, use cases, requirements, dependencies, and challenges across the SDLC.
• Assist in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining software applications based on business/technical requirements.
• Write clean, readable, reusable, maintainable code following best practices.
• Develop features for frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and services.
• Participate in analysis, design, reviews, debugging, and implementation.
• Build/consume RESTful APIs; work with DBs, data models, queries, integrations.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, integration challenges.
• Develop unit/integration tests for validation.
• Use Git-based version control workflows.
• Work with Jenkins/CI-CD tools for builds and deployments.
• Explore modern frameworks/tools to improve efficiency.
• Prototype AI-assisted solutions using LLMs, GenAI, agents (code gen, review, docs, debugging).
• Contribute to workflows where software agents analyze requirements and generate code with human review.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness/security/performance.
• Apply secure coding practices; recommend improvements.
• Document designs, decisions, APIs, and workflows.
