Software Development Engineer

About the Job

Scoutit is seeking skilled Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in building high-performance and resilient applications, driving core platform enhancements, and championing engineering best practices. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to define, design, and deliver impactful features. Key responsibilities include optimizing application performance metrics, reducing crash rates, managing memory efficiently, and maintaining high-quality code. You will also be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across Apple platforms in production environments, and designing and implementing new iOS features, particularly those related to media playback, to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Build performant and resilient applications, contributing to core platform improvements and promoting engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to define, design, and ship high-impact features.
• Optimize app performance metrics, reduce crash rates, manage memory effectively, and maintain efficient code.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Apple platforms in production environments.
• Design and implement new iOS features related to media playback, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Qualifications:
