Software Development Engineer

Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a Software Development Engineer (RAMON 1) to join their team in New Delhi, India. This entry-level, full-time, unlimited position offers an exciting opportunity for young professionals to contribute to high-quality software development. As part of the role, you will absorb processes, quality standards, and the development environment from R&S Germany. Key responsibilities include the technical execution of software updates, collaborating closely with the Germany-based engineering team, and fostering strong cross-functional interaction between RS India and RS Germany, with potential for occasional business trips to Germany. You will integrate into existing development processes, implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment, and ensure software quality and successful quality gates in conjunction with the test automation team. Your Qualifications:

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable field.
• Solid knowledge in C++ and proficiency with the latest C++ standards (20 or later).
• Proven work experience of 0-5 years.
• Versatility in object-oriented programming.
• Skilled in debugging techniques.
• Experience with test frameworks and the creation of unit tests.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• An independent, goal-oriented working style.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt.
• The ability to adapt to another programming language is an added advantage.
• High level of teamwork skills with corresponding communication competence.
• Good knowledge in Python is appreciated.
