Software Development Engineer

About The Role

As a Lead Engineer – Embedded Software Development (LPB2), you will lead firmware development for the MarkVIe control platform. You will translate complex requirements into robust architectures, guiding cross-functional teams through design, coding, testing, and deployment within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 6-9 years of experience in embedded software development with hands-on C/C++ coding skills.
• Advanced expertise in microprocessor architectures and preemptive, multitasking RTOS (preferably QNX).
• Proven Agile experience using automated unit testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Tech Leadership: Define firmware architectures to ensure system robustness.
• Full-Cycle Development: Lead end-to-end software lifecycle for mission-critical systems.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance efficiency and scalability in power generation standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface between hardware, systems engineering, and product teams.
