Role Overview
As a Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) at Avasant Labs, you will leverage automation, analytics, and AI insights to automate core consulting processes. You will work within an Agile environment on B2B SaaS products involving Dashboards, Workflows, and Data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to automate features and perform manual testing of new functionalities.
• Owning the complete architecture for planning and designing automation frameworks covering performance, API, and Web testing.
• Setting up automation infrastructure, including CI/CD pipeline triggers (e.g., Jenkins).
• Building high-quality automation frameworks to ensure end-to-end feature coverage across all levels of the test pyramid.
• Designing, developing, and executing tests using open-source tools like Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, TestNG, and Maven in Python or Java.
• Contributing to performance and security testing initiatives.
• Liaising with product managers and developers to identify system requirements and execute project-specific test plans for Web applications.
• Maintaining knowledge of client-server architecture, backend protocols, SQL/DBMS, and modern CI tools like GitLab or GitHub Actions.
