Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) proficient in test automation, Python, and automation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with engineering, support, and other teams to build reliable, scalable, and production-quality automated testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automation strategies tailored for robust software validation.
• Create and maintain sophisticated automation frameworks and extensive test suites.
• Develop high-performance automation code using Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Leverage Robot Framework to build efficient and scalable test automation workflows.
• Integrate automated testing pipelines seamlessly with Jenkins CI/CD tools and Git version control systems.
• Execute, maintain, and troubleshoot large-scale automated regression suites to ensure application stability.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold the highest quality standards for all automation assets.
• Perform manual testing as needed based on evolving business priorities and critical release cycles.
• Evaluate emerging tools and recommend optimal approaches for continuous improvement of our test infrastructure.
• Foster strong collaboration with Development, Support, and Escalation teams to resolve issues effectively.
• Contribute strategically to the architecture, strategy, and framework development of our automation ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software test automation within an enterprise environment.
• Strong proficiency with Python programming language and advanced Object-Oriented Programming techniques.
• Minimum 2+ years of specialized experience using Robot Framework for automated testing scenarios.
• Solid track record of building custom automation frameworks and reusable libraries from scratch.
• Familiarity with integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and Git repositories.
• Experience validating complex, scalable software products in production-like environments.
• Detailed understanding of automation architecture patterns and strategic implementation methodologies.
• Broad exposure to both functional testing (black-box) and non-functional testing areas such as performance or security basics.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience working effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments is essential.
• Holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Master's in Science (MS) in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
