Role Overview

The SDET-1 role is critical for our business, demanding high accuracy and rapid development pace. You will own automation end-to-end across API, UI, and data layers using a unified framework powered by modern AI tooling.

• Own end-to-end automation (API, UI, SQL/data) within Playwright + TypeScript.
• Cover functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing with defined strategies.
• Leverage AI-first approaches: coding assistants, LLM-based test generation, self-healing tests, and anomaly detection.
• Engineer robust test data for complex banking workflows.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Shift quality left via design participation and code reviews.
• Debug services using logs and dashboards (Kibana, Grafana).
• Craft AI prompts/guardrails and document test strategies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in software test automation with strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
• Fintech or banking domain experience is mandatory.
• Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, microservices, API mocking (WireMock), and SQL.
• Experience with performance/load tools (K6, JMeter) and security testing fundamentals.
• Proven ability to build resilient, AI-assisted test suites at scale.
• Prompt engineering experience using GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency for containerized environments.
• Experience in secure, closed-network infrastructures (VPNs, VDI).
• Observability skills to read logs and dashboards.
