In this role, you will be instrumental in building and powering TD AI services and platforms. You'll adhere to and contribute to TD AI's software development lifecycle standards, collaborating closely with product and technology teams to deliver efficient, maintainable, and thoroughly unit-tested software.

Your responsibilities will include partnering with product and business teams to understand customer journeys and address challenges crucial for TD AI's growth. You will have the opportunity to select appropriate technology stacks under the guidance of senior team members and contribute significantly to the architecture and design of both new and existing systems. Active participation in product and design discussions is expected, along with mentoring junior engineers to elevate their technical skills.

This role offers ownership of a functional area, overseeing it from product conception through delivery, including code quality, unit test coverage, and documentation. We are seeking candidates with strong problem-solving abilities and a quick learning aptitude, possessing a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Experience in a product company is required, with a minimum of 2-3 years in back-end development using languages like Java, C#, Python, or GoLang. Proficiency with various data stores (SQL, NoSQL) and queuing systems is essential. Some experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, and TypeScript is also expected. Knowledge of back-end architecture, design patterns for distributed systems, and experience in implementing and improving them are key. Prior experience in agile environments or with CI/CD practices is beneficial, as is the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production bugs. A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and web development, along with excellent teamwork and communication skills, is paramount. A passion for learning new technologies to create exceptional products is highly valued.
