Software Development Engineer II

Requirements:

• Develop microservices using Node.js or Java Spring Boot; implement APIs with Spring Boot/Node and configure middleware like RabbitMQ.
• Apply design patterns to solve complex backend architectural challenges.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, debugging, performance analysis, and remediation skills.
• Manage databases including RDS (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Dynamo).
• Deploy services via API gateways (AWS native, Kong), ensuring service discoverability, security, and throttling.
• Craft unit and feature tests using TDD principles; perform load testing.
• Utilize JUnit or similar frameworks for robust unit testing.
• Stay current with emerging backend technologies.
• Maintain a detail-oriented approach in startup environments.
