Job Opportunity: Software Development Engineer II - Backend

Onsurity is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II with a focus on Backend development to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is crucial for enhancing and expanding our innovative employee healthcare benefits platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain multiple backend microservices.
• Write and ensure the scalability of clean, high-quality code.
• Create and maintain unit tests to achieve high code coverage.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to refactor existing codebases.
• Participate in the design and architecture of new microservices.
• Work effectively within a team to deliver on project commitments.
• Assist in identifying and fulfilling current and future technical hiring needs for the company.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Solid understanding of at least one NoSQL or SQL database, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Proven strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is mandatory.
