As an Android Developer at SIXT, you will be instrumental in engineering efforts, from planning and organization to execution and delivery, solving intricate problems in quality and development. You will uphold high standards for code quality, adhering to principles of Clean Code and efficient architecture. Your responsibilities will include evaluating new technologies, developing new features based on your findings, and collaborating closely with product management and design teams in a fast-paced, proactive setting. Fluency in English and an appreciation for cultural diversity are essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 4-6 years of experience in sophisticated Android application development. Proficiency in Kotlin is mandatory. You should have a strong understanding of Webservices, Persistence, and Material Design, along with in-depth knowledge of Android UI Components and Lifecycles. Experience with MVP and MVVM architectures is required. Desirable skills include experience with Android Jetpack, Firebase, Pagination, Data modeling, Google Maps SDK, Play Console, and Google APIs. Excellent communication skills are also a key requirement.
