Software Development Engineer

About the Role:

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services that support our trading platform. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code optimized for performance.
• Participate in rigorous code reviews and automated testing practices to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and security for smooth system integration.
• Debug and resolve critical production issues quickly, providing guidance when required.
• Work within an agile environment with increasing ownership over time as you grow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech) or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Mandatory prior experience working with fintech applications or regulated financial systems.

Technical Skills:

• Strong backend engineering expertise in any modern programming language (Golang is a bonus).
• Solid experience designing and querying MySQL databases and other backend storage solutions.
• In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system design patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure on AWS and containerization using Docker is highly valued.
• Exposure to trading systems or financial data processing is preferred.
