Overview

Texas Instruments is seeking a Software Development Engineer for its Information Technology Solutions Development Program. This entry-level opportunity offers three years of rotational assignments across diverse IT functions including business analysis, application development, security, networking, and mainframe support.

Responsibilities

• Perform project scope documentation, test case development, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to drive system upgrades and process improvements.
• Solve problems for partners in equipment automation, factory management, finance, operations, marketing, and supply chain.
• Leverage programming skills in C, C++, Java, Perl, HTML, SQL within Unix or Windows environments using Oracle databases.
• Administer client/server databases (Oracle, Microsoft) and support Enterprise UNIX patches and version control.
• Implement security controls to protect company email, data, e-commerce systems from internal and external threats.
• Maintain large install bases of computers running Unix, Windows, SAP, and Oracle environments.
• Design local and wide-area network solutions supporting IP and VOIP protocols across multiple platforms.

Suitability

This role is ideal for candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with strong analytical skills. Knowledge of web development, scripting, networks, and databases is highly advantageous.
