Software Development Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 5-6 years of experience specializing in C# .NET and Angular to join our team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining clinical applications built on sophisticated software platforms, contributing to architectural discussions, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust enterprise-level software applications using C# .NET backend technologies and Angular frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and fellow engineers to design and implement high-quality features for healthcare solutions.
• Participate actively in code reviews ensuring adherence to industry best practices, quality standards, and security protocols.
• Engage in architectural design discussions to influence project direction and technical strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues efficiently in production environments.
• Work extensively with medical imaging protocols like DICOM, ensuring strict interoperability and regulatory compliance (HIPAA/GDPR).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-6 years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in C# .NET and Angular.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC methodologies.
• Basic understanding of DICOM standards within the healthcare context.
• Solid experience with relational databases (SQL) for data persistence and management.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and clean code principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline automation tools.
• Prior experience in the healthcare or medical imaging industry is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks like React.

We Work Together

This is an onsite role requiring full-time presence at our Bengaluru facility. Our teams work collaboratively, with office-based positions generally following an in-person schedule of at least 3 days per week to foster teamwork and innovation.
