Join a team dedicated to crafting unique OTT viewing experiences that directly influence the Amazon MX Player customer journey. We're searching for an engineer with a passion for movies and TV to work backwards from the customer and help us realize our vision.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing new features for Amazon MX Player. Collaborating with engineering colleagues, product managers, and UX designers, you will build engaging web-based products. You will own customer-facing features throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing production support. A key focus will be optimizing applications for peak performance and unwavering reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop practical solutions for broadly defined problems.
• Apply fundamental algorithm concepts.
• Write code in object-oriented languages and contribute to building large-scale, robust distributed systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems to deliver high-quality products that align with business objectives and customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of professional software development experience (excluding internships).
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
