Full Job Description
Papaya Global is seeking a **Software Development Engineer (Full Stack)** to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will design and develop both frontend and backend components, integrating APIs, and building scalable systems that power our global workforce platform. Your responsibilities include:
- Building high-quality full-stack applications using React (TypeScript), microservices architecture, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, React Router, Redux, styled-components).
- Developing backend services (Java/Spring Boot) and RESTful APIs for seamless integrations with third-party providers.
- Leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., AI coding agents) to accelerate workflows, testing, and code reviews.
- Ensuring rigorous automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborating with architects, UX specialists, and R&D teams to define implementation strategies.
- Staying updated on cutting-edge development, AI, and Agile practices (CI/CD, microservices, AWS deployment).
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning and mentoring peers.
**Key Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on frontend (≈60%) and backend (≈40%).
- Strong expertise in React (TypeScript), microservices, and Webpack Module Federation.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL/Redis).
- Proven track record in Agile development, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Passion for improving software quality through self-learning and collaboration.
