Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer 2 to join our Clinical Technology team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that integrate data from multiple source systems and generate accurate datasets for clinical site payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications and data solutions.
Develop and enhance both front-end and back-end application components.
Work with data from multiple source systems and databases.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and coding issues.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Quality Engineers, and other stakeholders.
Review technical documentation and validation deliverables.
Continuously improve existing applications based on business requirements.
Follow software engineering best practices and coding standards.
Take ownership of assigned development tasks and deliverables.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Approximately 2 years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong SQL skills.
Experience with SSMS and Excel.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software development methodologies.
Experience developing web applications.
Understanding of both front-end and back-end development.
Knowledge of databases and data integration concepts.
Familiarity with Git/source control.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
Exposure to cloud technologies and modern application architectures.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of software testing, validation, and quality processes.
Exposure to healthcare, clinical, life sciences, or pharmaceutical domains.
