About the Role
Acuitas is hiring a Software Developer (SDE) with 1–2 years of hands-on coding experience to build custom applications, dashboards, and tools on Veeva Vault CRM (X-Pages) for life-sciences clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Design and build custom X-Pages using the Veeva JS library to create dashboards, pre-call planning views, and field activity trackers. Write clean, modular JavaScript/TypeScript with proper error handling.
- Data & Logic: Query CRM data (Accounts, Calls, Territories) to implement business logic for KPIs and aggregations. Reconcile dashboard numbers against source data.
- Lifecycle Management: Participate in requirements, design, testing, deployment across environments (Sandbox/QA/Prod), and support UAT. Debug using browser DevTools.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.Core Tech Stack: Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3. Solid problem-solving skills with data structures and algorithms.
- Databases & APIs: Working knowledge of REST APIs/JSON and SQL fundamentals (joins, filtering).
- Tools: Git version control workflows.
Platform Awareness:
- Basic understanding of CRM concepts (accounts, contacts, objects).
- Exposure to Veeva Vault/Salesforce or willingness to learn quickly.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Familiarity with VQL/SOQL/Apex, modern frameworks like React/Vue, charting libraries (Chart.js), Node.js build tools, and awareness of life-sciences data privacy regulations.
