Software Developer

About The Role

We are seeking a Network Software Developer with a solid track record of building network-centric software applications. You will develop tools to improve automated workflows, create UI portals for partner interactions, build REST API endpoints, and maintain microservices supporting our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support full lifecycle automated solutions for switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, and servers
• Build new features in modern Single Page Applications (UI)
• Develop and maintain microservices using Python, Golang, and cloud-native technologies
• Build and enhance gRPC and RESTful APIs
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and write automated tests
• Resolve deployment or tooling outage events (On-Call rotation)

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in software development supporting production networks at-scale
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with frontend frameworks: React/Next.js, Vue, Ember, Lit
• Internal tooling development (APIs)
• Infrastructure-as-code tools: Python, Golang, Ansible, YAML, Netconf/YANG, Chef, Terraform
• End-to-end pipeline experience with Jenkins, Temporal, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and design metrics/analytics tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Operating in Linux environments
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Able to work varying hours for cross-team interfaces
• Automating distributed network services on Linux servers
• Stream processing using Kafka and data visualization (Grafana)
• Open source contributions (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging)
