Key Responsibilities:
- Modifying software to resolve errors, adapt to new hardware, enhance performance, or upgrade user interfaces.
- Overseeing system testing and validation procedures to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Directing software programming efforts and managing documentation development.
- Collaborating with internal departments and external clients to provide project status updates and discuss proposals.
- Working with clients and departments on technical challenges, including the design and maintenance of software systems.
- Analyzing information to recommend and plan the implementation of new systems or modifications to existing ones.
- Consulting with engineering teams to assess software-hardware interfaces and to define specifications and performance requirements.
- Designing and developing sophisticated software systems utilizing scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
- Preparing comprehensive reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Conferring with project managers to understand project limitations and capabilities.
