Software Developer

• Modifying existing software to resolve defects, enhance performance, adapt to new hardware, or improve user interfaces.
• Overseeing and directing system testing and validation procedures to ensure software quality.
• Guiding the development of software programming and comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborating with various departments or clients to provide project status updates and present proposals.
• Engaging with clients and internal departments on technical challenges, including software system design and ongoing maintenance.
• Analyzing information to recommend and plan the implementation of new systems or modifications to existing ones.
• Liaising with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and define specifications and performance requirements.
• Designing and developing sophisticated software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict outcomes and design consequences.
• Preparing detailed reports on programming project specifications, ongoing activities, and overall status.
• Consulting with project managers to understand project limitations and capabilities.
