CWP Energy is seeking a talented Software Developer Intern to join their team in Montreal, Quebec. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge SaaS platform focused on renewable energy solutions. You will play a key role in integrating weather data and energy market analytics, collaborating closely with senior developers on feature design and implementation. Responsibilities include building front-end features using Angular for a data-intensive energy analytics platform, contributing to backend API development in C# (.NET), and developing interfaces that display live weather forecasts, power predictions, and trading signals to energy operators. You will also be involved in data ingestions and projects leveraging AI to enhance strategic areas of the platform.

Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one front-end framework (React or Angular). Some experience with object-oriented programming (C#, Java, or Python). Demonstrated ability to write clean code, ask insightful questions, and take ownership of work.

Preferred qualifications: Exposure to cloud platforms or Docker is considered a strong asset.
