Software Developer II

Cradlepoint is seeking a skilled Software Developer II to join our engineering team in Noida. This role involves executing detailed designs of application and technical architecture components as specified by Systems Analysts. You will be instrumental in developing high-quality software components, supporting component testing, and contributing to early system testing to ensure application robustness and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement back-end solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Develop and maintain scalable Java components with REST or SOAP based Web Services for inter-application communication.
• Create plugins for the Billing Product to enhance functionality and integrate with core systems.
• Develop Spring Batch applications for efficient handling of bulk and complex data processing.
• Deploy applications in servers like Tomcat, ensuring stable runtime configurations.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on software builds and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jira, GitLab, and Sonar.
• Develop solutions incorporating Messaging or Streaming Frameworks like ActiveMQ or Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Communicate effectively with diverse technical audiences and team members to foster a collaborative development environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Java technologies and core concepts.
• Solid understanding of Core Java, including the Collections Framework and Object-Oriented Design.
• Experience with Multithreading Concepts (Thread Pool, Executor Service, Future Task).
• Detailed working knowledge of Java 8+ features, including Stream API, Lambda expressions, and functional interfaces.
• Proficiency in Java Web Application Development with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of Data Access Frameworks and ORM tools like Hibernate and JPA.
• Familiarity with database concepts and practical knowledge in RDBMS/SQL.
• Experience in Angular-based application development for front-end integration.
• Experience with DevOps Tools and CI/CD practices.
