Software Developer - Legal & Compliance
Lawrbit is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Gurugram. This role involves researching complex legal issues, understanding global regulatory schemes, and developing innovative solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on various legal issues relevant to clients.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of global regulatory frameworks and schemes.
- Perform regulatory mapping and create detailed compliance checklists.
- Apply a strong knowledge of compliance principles, theories, and concepts.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments for business operations and processes.
- Manage comprehensive compliance for assigned client organizations, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and statutes.
- Develop solutions for a wide range of complex problems with significant scope.
- Lead compliance-related projects, managing internal and external resources and agency relationships.
- Identify accountabilities for local/regional compliance programs and consulting staff.
- Utilize various compliance tools, databases, and software applications for routine and non-routine activities.
- Perform complex analyses to identify potential compliance issues and areas requiring attention.
- Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing laws and regulations.
- Upload and review legal documents accurately.
- Provide analytical understanding and interpretation of client problems to facilitate resolutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: L.LB / BA.LLB / LLM / Company Secretary / Chartered Accountant.
- Possess excellent critical and legal reasoning skills.
- Exhibit excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Maintain a very strong focus on attention to detail.
- Effectively communicate with internal teams and external clients.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
