About the Role

Platform 3 is seeking a dedicated Software Developer with a specialization in data archiving and retention to join our team in Chennai. This role is crucial for ensuring our data management practices comply with stringent regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX. You will be instrumental in architecting, designing, and implementing robust data archiving and retention solutions that align with enterprise-wide standards.

Collaboration will be key as you work with various cross-functional teams and third-party vendors. Your efforts will ensure adherence to DevOps, CI/CD, and established coding standards. A significant part of this role involves analyzing and evaluating enterprise-wide data archiving requirements, with a focus on optimizing storage, managing costs, and enhancing system performance.

You will proactively identify and implement new archiving candidates through continuous business analysis and lifecycle management. Furthermore, you will be responsible for meticulously documenting archiving design patterns, configurations, and procedures. The design and configuration of data retention strategies, utilizing tools like Archon and ETL, will be a core responsibility. This includes performing detailed data mapping and developing user-friendly search screens to meet business and customer needs.

Developing and managing data archiving jobs, pipelines, and integration frameworks using REST APIs and cloud services will be essential. You will also play a vital role in troubleshooting and resolving complex performance and integration issues across our systems.
