Software Developer

We are seeking a passionate Software Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team based at Rapsys Technologies in Byculla, Mumbai. This is a full-time role requiring on-site presence from Monday to Saturday (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM).

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of high-performance Android Native and Flutter-based mobile applications. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with senior developers to deliver scalable solutions that provide seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, code, test, and maintain robust software using Java for Android Native apps and Flutter/Dart for cross-platform solutions. Ensure clean architecture and adherence to SDLC best practices.
• Integration & Database Management: Seamlessly integrate REST APIs and third-party services. Manage data persistence using MySQL and SQLite databases to ensure efficient frontend-backend communication.
• Quality Assurance: Proactively troubleshoot bugs, conduct rigorous testing, monitor application performance metrics, and implement optimizations for reliability.
• Maintenance & Deployment: Oversee deployment processes, manage app updates on the Google Play Store, maintain technical documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java programming with strong experience in Android Native development.
• Solid working knowledge of Flutter framework and Dart language.
• Familiarity with REST API integrations and mobile service interactions.
• Experience querying and managing MySQL and SQLite databases.
• Versatility across various SDLC phases using Git for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications or hands-on experience with Firebase integration.
• Understanding of modern UI/UX principles tailored for mobile interfaces.
• Knowledge of API security best practices and publishing workflows for the Play Store.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
