Full Job Description
IBM is seeking a talented Software Developer to join its AI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. This role focuses on developing modular and reusable components for internal AI projects, emphasizing scalability and long-term usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop modular, reusable components for internal AI projects, ensuring scalability and long-term usability.
- Collaborate within a structured Agile framework, managing tasks and addressing priority items efficiently during sprints.
- Balance development tasks with cross-team communication to drive the progress of high-priority tasks.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members during project standups and task tracking.
- Take ownership of tasks within an established structure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proactively solve problems and propose innovative solutions to enhance existing AI frameworks.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python and experience developing projects (college work, internships, or personal projects).
- Demonstrated innovation and creativity in AI-related projects or any technical domain.
- Foundational knowledge and interest in artificial intelligence and modern AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, NLP).
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, structured Agile environment and manage sprint tasks with flexibility for high-priority changes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams for project success.
