Software Developer

1. Modifying software to resolve errors, adapt to new hardware, enhance performance, or upgrade interfaces.
2. Directing system testing and validation procedures to ensure software quality.
3. Overseeing software programming and comprehensive documentation development.
4. Consulting with internal departments and external clients on project status and proposals.
5. Collaborating with clients and departments on technical challenges, including software system design and ongoing maintenance.
6. Analyzing information to recommend and plan the implementation of new systems or modifications to existing ones.
7. Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and define specifications and performance requirements.
8. Designing and developing robust software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict outcomes and design consequences.
9. Preparing detailed reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status updates.
10. Conferring with project managers to understand project limitations and capabilities.
