Software Architect

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Architect (L6) to define and drive architectural vision across multiple products at company scale. As the senior-most technical leader, you will establish long-term technical strategy, set architectural guardrails for distributed systems, and ensure coherence across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate and align on a long-term architectural vision with teams and leadership globally.
• Lead cross-product architecture reviews to standardize engineering practices and drive foundational investments.
• Solve complex, ambiguous technical challenges at platform scale.
• Mentor principal and staff engineers to foster excellence in our remote-first environment.
• Partner with product and executive leaders on strategic direction.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years designing and scaling distributed systems for large-scale architectures (reliability, security, cost-optimization).
• Demonstrated ability to set technical vision at an enterprise level.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in high-growth SaaS or communications platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified leadership in cloud-native, multi-region systems and observability patterns.
• Open-source project leadership with significant external impact.

Location & Benefits
