Software Architect

We are seeking a talented Software Architect to join our team in Hyderabad or Bangalore. Our mission is to revolutionize AI infrastructure by significantly lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), making AI more accessible. We are developing a proprietary MIMO-over-copper technology for a scalable, energy-efficient chiplet-based AI memory fabric. This innovative solution offers reduced power consumption, high bandwidth, and ultra-low latency, driving unprecedented efficiency for AI training and inference.

Responsibilities:

• Architect the CMIS 5.x stack, including DataPath State Machine, VDM, I2C/MCTP, and FW-SW interface.
• Lead host interop tests for hyperscalers (Meta, AWS, etc.), creating test matrices and regression suites.
• Develop manufacturing test orchestration, integrating ATE and performing yield analytics.
• Build a telemetry pipeline from firmware to host/cloud, defining formats, compression, and SDK APIs.
• Own the customer SDK and tools (C/Python, CLI, log analysis), managing releases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as CMIS 5.x, OSFP MSA, SFF-8024, and OIF.
• Travel up to 25% for customer engagement, manufacturing, and standards meetings.

Skills:

• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and systems languages (Go/Rust).
• Experience with CI/CD and conformance testing.
• Strong knowledge of I2C/MCTP, SFF-8024, and vendor extensions.
• Good understanding of standards implementation (OIF, SFF, IEEE management plane).
• Familiarity with architecture documentation best practices (SHALL/MUST, REQ traceability).
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in high-speed interconnect software (module SW, management, test, SDK).
• Proven experience with CMIS 4.x/5.x implementation and OSFP MSA.
• Experience with hyperscaler interop involving NIC/switch ASICs (Nvidia, Broadcom).
• Experience in test software architecture, ATE, and yields.
• Background in manufacturing and field support.

Education:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (MS preferred).
