As a Senior SOC Analyst and Cyber Security Engineer at Sopra Steria, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' digital environments. Your responsibilities will include the timely detection and notification of all threats within customer environments, ensuring continuous review of incidents to maintain compliance with standard operating procedures, and providing training and feedback to Security Analysts to elevate the quality of our deliverables. You will be instrumental in identifying and implementing improvements in monitoring processes, including threat scenarios and operating procedures. Furthermore, you will interact with customers to address queries and discuss enhancements to service deliverables. A key aspect of this role involves contributing to our Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) offerings. You will also perform root cause analysis for any errors or deficiencies identified in the monitoring service, review alerts to determine their relevance and urgency, and create trouble tickets for incidents. A thorough understanding of the Protection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and GDPR is essential. This role requires readiness for 24x7 support services.
