Join Sopra Steria as a SOC Analyst Senior Cyber Security Engineer in Noida, India. This role requires 2 to 4 years of experience in security operations or IT operations (Data Centre, SOC/NOC) and involves providing 24/7 support. You will be instrumental in detecting and notifying customer threats promptly, ensuring continuous review of incidents against standard operating procedures, and mentoring Security Analysts to maintain high-quality deliverables. Your responsibilities will include identifying and implementing improvements in monitoring, threat scenarios, and operating procedures, as well as interacting with customers to address queries and enhance service deliverables. This position also requires contributing to Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) offerings and performing root cause analysis for monitoring service deficiencies. A thorough understanding of the Protection of Personal Identifiable Information and GDPR is essential. Key skills include excellent English communication, strong networking and operating system concepts, and familiarity with infrastructure components like Proxy, Firewall, and Antivirus. You should be proficient with security tools such as SentinelOne IR, ServiceNow Tool, and Microsoft Defender. The ideal candidate will possess the technical maturity to guide a team of Analysts, demonstrate a capability to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies, and work effectively in a collaborative, international, and complex environment with a focus on quality, detail, and customer confidentiality. Basic ITIL knowledge is also expected. Qualifications include an engineering degree (B.E. / B.Tech in IT or Computer Engineering) and at least one preferred certification from AZ-900, SC-900, SC-200, or BLT1.
