SOC Analyst - Global Security Operations Center
Join The Citco Group Limited's Global Security team as a SOC Analyst in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. You will be instrumental in monitoring, triaging, investigating, and responding to diverse security scenarios across our global operations. This role demands a strong investigative skillset, meticulous data analysis, and the ability to make decisive actions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Management & Response
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from access control, alarms, and camera feeds.
- Triage, analyze, and data mine information from various sources to identify patterns and threats.
- Conduct initial analysis to support detailed investigations.
- Execute procedures for physical security incidents, emergency responses, and breaches.
- Initiate verification and containment steps, including reviewing camera feeds, access logs, and remotely managing door access.
- Escalate incidents to GSOC and security management according to protocols.
- Meticulously document all incident details, root causes, and corrective actions.
Access Control & Badging
- Manage employee access procedures, including onboarding, DNA requests, and badge issuance.
- Verify employee identities and coordinate with HR for access level management.
- Investigate and respond to unauthorized access, lost/stolen badges, and tailgating incidents.
Monitoring & Maintenance
- Perform daily health checks on security systems (cameras, sensors) and log issues for resolution.
- Respond to security incident calls and system-generated alerts.
- Conduct annual access privilege reviews with HR and local management.
Escalation & Reporting
- Follow predefined escalation paths and provide real-time alerts for critical incidents.
- Generate and submit post-incident reports and prepare briefings for SOC management.
- Manage shift reporting and handover procedures.
- Create weekly/monthly MIS reports on logged and resolved incidents.
- Collaborate with man-guarding teams and other departments for coordinated security responses.
Skills & Qualifications
Must Have
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, high discipline, attention to detail, and ethical standards.
- Problem-solving attitude and teamwork skills.
- Exceptional English communication and documentation abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (nights, weekends, holidays) in a 24/7 operations environment.
- Minimum 2 Years of relevant experience.
- Working experience in Security/IOT Technologies (access control, CCTV/VMS, intrusion detection, alarm management).
- Relevant Graduate Degree in Engineering (Bachelors) or Equivalent.
Preferably
- Experience in a security operations center (SOC).
- Certified as a PSP (Physical Security Professional by ASIS).
- Certified in compliance standards like ISO 27001.
- Qualified as an investigator.
- Ability to suggest procedural improvements.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous incidents calmly and decisively.
