Snowflake Developer

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and understandability by developing robust data quality, monitoring, and anomaly detection solutions. You will establish clear end-to-end visibility of data origins and usage. Your responsibilities will include building and supporting data pipelines using SQL, Snowflake, Python, Airflow, and API integrations. A key aspect of this position is your ability to clearly articulate data issues and insights to senior leadership, including the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop data observability and automated data quality frameworks.
• Implement pattern recognition and anomaly detection mechanisms.
• Establish end-to-end data lineage, ensuring source-to-target understanding.
• Leverage strong technical skills in SQL, Snowflake, Python, and Airflow.
• Integrate third-party data sources using API-based methods.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical work to senior management and executives.

Qualifications:

• B. Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering or data platform development.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Data Warehousing, Snowpipe, and performance optimization.
