Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Smart Completions Support Specialist for its operations in Haryana-New Delhi, India. This role is crucial in supporting and deploying software applications used by Construction and Startup personnel on projects globally. The specialist will identify work process gaps and develop innovative automation solutions to enhance work processes, data quality, and user satisfaction. This is a part-time telework position located in New Delhi.

The Corporate Startup Automation team, within the EPC Functions Automation Organization, is dedicated to equipping automation professionals and startup engineers for a digital future. We support projects in the Oil, Gas & Chemicals, Mining and Metals, Infrastructure, and Nuclear & Security sectors.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the digitalization of Bechtel's work processes.
• Collaborating with end-users to address software and work process issues.
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate software solutions for end-user needs, prioritizing long-term, multi-project applications.
• Writing SQL queries for data manipulation and retrieval from Access, MS SQL, and Oracle databases.
• Updating, inserting, and deleting data using SQL statements to support custom applications.
• Developing technical user manuals, training materials, and presentations for various stakeholders.
• Conducting training and mentoring for Global Business Unit (GBU) and project super users on Software Automation tools.
• Reporting to the Product Owner – SmartCompletions and the Digital Delivery Organization.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related Technical Degree.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes.
• Advanced understanding of EPC functions integration tools and work processes.
• Good understanding of Bechtel standard startup testing and commissioning procedures (STCPs).
• Experience with database systems (Access, Oracle, SQL Server) and database tools (SSMS, Oracle SQL Developer).
• Experience in developing reports, queries, and dashboards.
• Proficiency in technical writing and oral presentations.
• Exposure to Hexagon’s Smart Completions Software, TEAMworks, EQMS, SETROUTE, Infoworks, and Aconex.
• Familiarity with Bechtel standard construction (SWPPs) and engineering (EDPs) work processes.
• Experience in Bechtel Startup/Construction across multiple GBUs.
• Advanced knowledge of Project Controls quantity tracking and reporting.
• Leadership or Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Experience with Web server and Internet Information Services (IIS) configuration.
• Experience with SQL server database configuration.
