About The Role

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to architect and operate the infrastructure powering our multi-tenant, security-sensitive B2B cloud product for enterprises worldwide. Our platform supports both multi-tenant environments and single-tenant (BYOC) deployments in customer clouds, requiring high standards of automation, consistency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Ownership: Write production-grade Go and Python code to automate infrastructure provisioning, upgrades, monitoring, and recovery at scale. Minimize manual intervention through robust self-service tooling, internal CLIs, and automation pipelines that enable engineering teams to ship faster.
• Kubernetes & Cloud Expertise: Possess deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production (scheduling, networking, autoscaling) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu. Operate across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments as needed for our multi-cloud footprint.
• Platform Development: Build end-to-end automation for environment onboarding, scaling, and decommissioning across multiple clouds and deployment models. Develop internal CLIs and frameworks that transform infrastructure operations into self-service capabilities.
• Core Services & Observability: Operate core platform services including Kubernetes clusters, Istio service meshes, Aerospike/PostgreSQL data stores, Kafka messaging queues, and GPU-backed inference workloads with a focus on capacity planning and cost efficiency. Enhance observability to catch failures before they impact customers.
• Incident Response & Reliability: Maintain an active on-call rotation for the systems you own. Drive root-cause analysis (RCA) under pressure, communicate clearly during incidents, and implement permanent fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
• Security & Compliance: Partner with security stakeholders to embed guardrails such as secrets management, access control, network policies, and audit logging directly into the platform infrastructure. Ensure adherence to compliance requirements for enterprise clients (e.g., PCI, SOC 2).

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with service meshes (Istio/Envoy), GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux), policy-as-code (OPA), stateful systems in production (Cassandra, etc.), and cost optimization strategies.
