Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 2-4 years of relevant experience to join our team. This is a permanent position requiring an immediate joiner for our Bengaluru/Bangalore, India office.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Possess strong hands-on experience in Linux troubleshooting and application debugging.
• Proficient in writing and managing Terraform configurations for infrastructure as code.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Experienced in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tool development.
• Familiarity with Finacle operations is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of system architecture and experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
• Good understanding of core networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and Load Balancing.
• Experienced with popular monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Skilled in setting up alerts, creating dashboards, and analyzing metrics/logs to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Strong capabilities in incident response, troubleshooting, and performing root cause investigations.
• Proficient in automating repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and system reliability.
• Skilled in analyzing complex distributed systems and proactively identifying potential issues.
• Hands-on experience in API and load testing using tools like Gatling and JMeter.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional technical teams.
• Adept at documenting processes and clearly conveying technical concepts to various stakeholders.
