Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

As part of the Security team at Media.net, you will deploy and manage security tooling to promote secure engineering practices across our organization. You will collaborate closely with Platform SRE, DevOps, SOC, and application-development teams to embed security into infrastructure, cloud-native platforms, and the software development lifecycle.

Working within large-scale Kubernetes clusters comprising thousands of nodes across multiple cloud regions, your responsibilities include defining security practices, building controls into pipelines, implementing DevSecOps, managing agentic penetration-testing tools (e.g., PentAGI, Strix), developing automated vulnerability workflows, conducting assessments, designing security tooling, monitoring SOC alerts, and automating compliance activities.

Who Should Apply

We are looking for a B.Tech/M.Tech graduate in Computer Science or Cybersecurity with 2-5 years of experience managing services in large-scale distributed systems. You should have a strong DevOps/SRE background, hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies across hybrid-cloud environments.

Essential skills include expertise in agentic penetration testing, SOC processes (monitoring, triage, incident response), networking concepts (TCP/IP, SDN), container security, programming/scripting (Python, Go), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Argo CD). Familiarity with logging stacks like Loki, Prometheus, Grafana and security tools such as Wazuh or Falco is required.

Good to Have

Experience in red teaming, ethical hacking, threat modelling, supporting audits, digital forensics, and relevant certifications in cloud security or offensive security.
